About the title:
In the New Testament, we read how Jesus called His disciples to follow Him. Their lives were transformed, as they learned from His example. They heard Him proclaim the good news of salvation and witnessed Him perform many miracles, such as healing the sick, casting out demons and the feeding of the five thousand. The apostle John wrote: “Jesus did many other miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples,  which are not recorded in this book. But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ,  the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:30-31)  This was obviously a great adventure for Jesus’ disciples.

Jesus continues to call us to follow Him today. He wants us to know Him, learn from Him and be transformed into His image. He often leads in unusual and unexpected ways in order to accomplish His purposes in our lives, but a couple of truths have become more clear to us over the years: (1) God loves us and wants what is best for us, and (2) following Jesus is a Great Adventure.
